Place
the sealed floors on the central surface of room for 48 hours before
installation. Do not place floors in those places where humidity is
high, such as bathroom, washroom and sauna chamber, etc. The ground
surface should be dry and smooth before installation.
#1. Clean the ground surface, pave the
cushion on the ground surface and then lay the first row floors. The
slots of floors should face to wall. The chocks (thickness: 8mm to
15mm) are required to be filled between floors and wall.
#2. Do not apply glues while trial installation.
Pave floors with lingual surface to lingual surface and the expansion
joint with proper size should be left.
#3.If the length of the residual part
of the last floor of the first row is +20cm, the residual part can
be used as the first floor of the second row. The minimum length of
the two ends of each row floor should exceed the length.
#4.Apply glues on the lingual surface,
assembly the short edge and then knock the long edge with hammer for
joint. 15 minutes separation for drying is required after the installation
of the third row finishes, then pave the fourth row. Special metal
hook is required to be used while installing the left floor of each
row and the last row floors. The concave and convex slots should be
jointed tightly. Note: The chocks (thickness: 8mm to 15mm) are required
to be filled between floors and wall.
#5.Strainer is required for installation
of the fourth row floors. The separation between two strainers is
one meter. The tensile strength should be proper.
#6.If
the pipe exists, drill a hole with the diameter that is 16mm larger
than the diameter of pipe. Apply ample glues on the joint surface
and tighten the floors with draw hook and hammer.
#7.After the installation of floors,
install skirting to hide the seams between floors and walls. The floors
should be floating with expansion and shrinkage unlimited.
Note: The above installation steps are only applicable for flat-mouth
floors. While installing mouth-locked floors, the step of apply
glues can be omitted.
